Testimonials
Dear David:
As you have doubtless heard by now, the jury returned a verdict in
our favor...
Exit interviews with the jurors indicated that they had a clear understanding
of the points we wanted to make. Your work contributed greatly to our
ability to communicate our position to the jury. Your dedication to the
case exceeded the call of duty and your honest critiques of our proposed
approaches were invaluable.
I hope we have opportunities to work together in the future, and
I will be sure to call you when my next major trial comes up.

Dear David:
My testimony and credibility with the jury was critical to the effective
presentation of our case. By all accounts, it went extremely well and,
of course, the results speak for themselves.
The advise and techniques you coached me on for my direct examination
and especially for cross-examination, worked like magic. At first I followed
the steps you gave me, half out of fear, half out of faith. After a few
questions, I could sense the rhythm of the process and feel the rapport
growing with the jury. The opposing counsel reacted just as you said he
would. Even though my confidence rose quickly, I remembered what you said
about not getting cocky and trying to anticipate the next question. Even
though he tried for hours to break me, I stayed with the steps and he
finally gave up in frustration. It was almost fun.
Looking back on my experience in the courtroom, I now know why they call
it a trial. Nothing in my life experience could have prepared me for it.
So thanks again for your help, I wouldn’t even want to think what it might
have been like without it.

Dear David:
Just a note of thanks, and congratulations too. On the same day we
talked, if I am not mistaken, your jury returned with a favorable result.
Your assistance was extremely valuable and appreciated. The clients
felt prepared and much more confident than if we had not had your help.
It was a challenging, exciting and draining case.
As I have told you, I am recommending you to all our trial attorneys
here at Dorsey.

Dear David:
I am writing to thank you for your recent assistance. I was amazed
by how well your communication techniques worked at trial. Due to your
help, our client was marvelously persuasive on direct examination, and
he completely frustrated the other side on cross examination. You deserve
much of the credit for the $400,000 verdict we obtained after the defense
offered us nothing prior to trial. You can be assured that I will recommend
your services to all of my friends who try cases.

Dear Mr. Garcetti,
On July 13, 1994, you sent me a note along with a letter from Mr. David
Tunno of Tunno & Associates. Mr. Tunno’s observations regarding witnesses
at the Simpson trial were interesting and I felt the department could
benefit from Mr. Tunno’s expertise.
From the attached documentation, you will find that Mr. Tunno’s presentation
at our department last week was very well received.

Chief Medical Examiner-Coroner

I was involved with David Tunno in a continuing education seminar for
accountants on the subject of the accountant’s role as an expert witness.
Candidly -- having spent many years as an attorney and legal educator
-- going into this seminar I was somewhat skeptical of Mr. Tunno’s involvement.
I was concerned that Mr. Tunno’s contribution to this seminar might be
more promotional than substantive.
I could not have been more wrong. Mr. Tunno’s work was the highlight
of the seminar. His criticisms, while gentle and constructive, were incisive,
practical and sophisticated. I was extremely impressed with Mr. Tunno
and I am pleased to able to recommend his abilities as a legal educator
without reservation.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any more specific questions
about my experiences with Mr. Tunno.
