In many instances, it is necessary for the jury to remember only a part of a document.  This
format is just one example of how this can be accomplished.  In this case, dozens of
similar looking charts were used.  To distinguish them from one another and to help keep
the jurors' attention through relatively "dry" material, colors and icons were used.  This
accounting malpractice case was divided into several areas, each with its own color
scheme and accompanying icons.
